Robert Laing is a professional Realtor for RE/MAX Gold – El Dorado Hills. He is an award winning realtor with over 10 years of service for El Dorado, Sacramento and Placer Counties. Robert and his team of professionals have closed over $100 million worth of residential real estate and is considered an expert in our local area. Robert received a Business Degree from San Jose State University with an emphasis in Business Finance and a minor in Economics. His financial background and attention to the details is what separates Robert from his constituents. Robert’s standards of excellence, strong ethical base coupled with his refined negotiating skills allows him to be a superior agent and advocate throughout the real estate process.
Robert came to the Real Estate business after a successful career in the Radio Broadcasting Industry in the Bay Area. He managed the financial affairs of multiple Radio Stations (KSJO, KEZR, KNBR, KBAY & KUFX) in the Bay Area and was directly responsible for more than $80 million budgets. His expertise in acquisitions and cost controls lead him to be regarded as one of the most important broadcast executives in the 3rd largest media market in the U.S.
Robert and his wife Michele have lived in El Dorado Hills for over 16 years and they enjoy raising their growing family in the region. Robert has 3 children, all attend local schools and are active in various sports and charitable organizations. Community involvement through the Rotary, EDH Chamber of Commerce and various local events remains a strong element of their lifestyle. Robert is very active in his children’s schools, coaching local kids and is currently on the board of the local swim team TAZ. He continues to invest his time and energy into making this area a special place to live.
